Hi there, I am Sid. Like most people, I tend to enjoy a movie night every now and then. But being an avid movie buff, these movies aren’t just the latest releases on Netflix or Prime Video, but come from different eras and continents. Many of us are subconsciously prejudiced about one type of films or another. But I believe that a good movie or a TV show is not limited by its language, themes or technique and resonates with its audience across time and geography. My intention is to share my views on some of these great movies and especially shine a light on a few hidden gems of cinema and TV through this blog.
You can read more about how I came to love this wonderful art form here.

About Fair Use
Fair use is a legal doctrine that promotes freedom of expression by permitting the unlicensed use of copyright-protected works in certain circumstances. Section 107 of the Copyright Act provides the statutory framework for determining whether something is a fair use and identifies certain types of uses—such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research—as examples of activities that may qualify as fair use.
